anna + adam / engagement session / nyc

Yesterday I took the train up to NYC to photograph Anna & Adam's engagement session; what fun!  We started our session with some 'green shots' at Central Park near Bethesda Fountain, wandered the trails, then decided to walk up Madison Avenue for some architecture and alleyways.   As you can see, Anna and Adam have great chemistry together!  Here are some of my favorites from the shoot...
Thanks Adam and Anna for an absolutely fantastic time; I loved hanging out with you both.  Looking forward to meeting your families in December!

jasmine + mike / sneak peek

Here is one of my favorite portraits from Jasmine and Mike's wedding at the Racquet Club on May 27th.  This was taken in the 'Gold Room' on the second floor with my Yashica film camera.  I love the soft light and dreamy mood going on here.

brody / philadelphia

I was so excited to meet this little guy after photographing Ivy & Matt's maternity session last fall.  Brody was a little bundle of joy - bright eyed, smiling and very flirtatious.

ryan

Here are some of my favorites from little Ryan's session in early June.  She was an absolute doll: chasing kitties, dancing in bubbles and hanging out with her dog, Handsome (very appropriately named, just see for yourself)!

Thanks Jen & Mike for having me document this little slice of your life.  We look forward to spending more time with you this summer!

strawberry shortcake

I drove out to Lancaster last Tuesday to spend some time with my eight year old nephew, Kellen.  We went to a nearby farm together and picked out some fresh strawberries for strawberry shortcake.  Kellen is always good company, whether we're hitting up yard sales, watching SpongeBob or checking the stream out back for minnows.

at first, we thought it was pick-your-own...

then we realized that the work was already done for us

...that was perfectly OK, because it was HOT out!
in the bag...
hanging out with Frank the dog while the shortcakes bake
perfection!
