valentine cookies
I hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day weekend. John and I sure did. Here are some pics of the cookies I did this year: lemon shortbread lips and chocolate shortbread hearts. The lemon lips were good, but the chocolate hearts were FAB.

Joy Bank / calligrapher
Here are some images from the latest project my friend & calligrapher Joy Bank has been working on. One of her clients dreamed up the idea for his wife for Valentine's Day and enlisted Joy's help to make it come to life. As I am partial to anything hand-lettered, I think this 'jar of memories' is just great.

february bouquet
Here is a pretty little arrangement I put together using inexpensive flowers from Produce Junction: purple cala lilies, miniature red roses, purple chrysanthemums, and red hypericum berries. I put them in a red glass candy dish my friend Julie gave me years ago. I love the way this one turned out.
