I love these little shoots.  Not only because I love Joy's work, but also because I get to play around with all the little 'props' scattered around my home: a fountain pen here, a pretty sheet of stamps there.  I find it meditative.  Now, if I could only learn to hand letter as beautifully as Joy...

wind + scott / pine crest country club

This wedding was fun and relaxed.  Wind and Scott kept things simple by opting not to have a wedding party.  It was a super cold late-January day, but despite the minus 6 degree wind chill we were able to get some pretty shots outside in the crisp winter light.  We made several 2-3 minute trips outside, coming inside quickly between each trip so we could warm our hands and ears.  Wind and Scott were incredibly easygoing and pleasant about the whole thing (thanks guys!), as was Laurie, my wonderful second shooter for the day.
