sarah + tj / joseph ambler inn

Sarah was one of those artsy brides that makes everything from scratch.  I could tell from our first meeting that she had a clear vision of the kind of style she wanted for her wedding.  My favorite detail (aside from the cookie bar!) was that each table was named after a classic novel: Wuthering Heights, Through The Looking Glass...you get the idea.  Lots and lots of milk glass vases were placed throughout the ballroom creating a vintage, whimsical atmosphere.

Flowers by Linda Fitzgerald.

Thanks Sarah & TJ for being so wonderful to work with; Laurie and I were thrilled to be a part of your day :)

paula + brian

Here are some shots of Paula and Brian from their engagement session at Pastorious Park in Chestnut Hill; what a beautiful day it turned out to be if not a little chilly.  They are getting married at one of my favorite venues - the Racquet Club- in September.

pastorious park : double family session

This was a super fun and enjoyable shoot for me; the kids were bright-eyed and excited and the light was just perfect.  What a wonderful way to catch up with old friends!  Thanks Sach & Meredith for having me capture this special and fleeting time in your lives.

jungle house

We just got back from Florida a few weeks ago.  Its great having family to visit in a tropical climate.

My mom moved to the gulf coast several years ago so she'd be closer to my aunt, uncle and grandparents.  When she announced her plan to move, my first thought was, "What?!  You're leaving us?!"  Now I know how lucky I am to have a place to escape the cold winters of the Northeast, all in just a two hour flight.

Here are some shots of Jungle House, the name we gave to her sweet two bedroom bungalow.  There's always a warm breeze and the sound of wind chimes floating through the air.  It's quiet, except for the chirping of birds and a peculiar jungle noise here and there.
