valentine cookies

I hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day weekend.  John and I sure did.  Here are some pics of the cookies I did this year: lemon shortbread lips and chocolate shortbread hearts.  The lemon lips were good, but the chocolate hearts were FAB.

I wanted to do something special for John this year for Valentine's Day.  He has piles and piles of old ticket stubs from over the years, from concerts & movies and such, just sitting around collection dust.  I found this cool old scrapbook at one of my favorite antique shops in Lancaster and decided to use it to create a home for John's ticket collection. 

At the end of the book I included 2 tickets to an upcoming show at the Keswick Theater in Glenside.
He loved it!
